Dr. Darryl Knight appointed to the Board of Directors

The PROOF Centre of Excellence is excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Darryl Knight to the Board of Directors. Dr. Knight has a plethora of leadership experience, currently serving as the President of Providence Health Care Research Institute, Vice-President of Research and Academic Affairs at Providence Health Care, Associate Dean of Research at UBC’s Faculty of Medicine, and professor at UBC’s Department of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics.

Previously he was the Head of the School of Biomedical Sciences and Pharmacy at the University of Newcastle and brings over 20 years of experience as an academic leader and medical researcher in Australia and Canada.
