Congratulations to PROOF Centre’s trainees, Jinelle Panton and Abhinav Checkervarty for the success of their research project being accepted through the Mitacs Accelerate Program.

Jinelle’s research aims include using transcriptomics datasets to develop a biomarker panel for diagnosing western red-cedar asthma (WRCA).

Abhinav’s research involves analyzing multi-OMICs data to better understand the molecular mechanisms and predictive biomarkers that indicate the antibody generation in newborns after vaccination.

We would like to officially welcome Jinelle and Abhinav to the PROOF Centre team.

Mitacs is a national, not-for-profit organization that has designed and delivered research and training programs in Canada for 20 years. https://www.mitacs.ca/
