Several members from PROOF Centre’s team and partners will be participating in the upcoming Heart + Lung Health FEST Scientific Symposium, March 26-27 at the Pinnacle Vancouver Harbourfront Hotel.
Our CEO, Dr. Bruce McManus will be presenting in a special session titled “Harvesting Value from Biomedical Research in BC: The Future is Now” on Thursday, March 26.
In the Friday morning session, “Advances in Biomarkers for Heart and Lung Disease – Can they tailor care for clinical medicine?” our CSO, Dr. Scott Tebbutt will be presenting on the advances in technology platforms for biomarker translation. Dr. Don Sin will also present on biomarkers in chronic lung disease.
The PROOF Centre will also have some posters in the poster competition.
The Heart + Lung Health FEST involves four days of the latest in heart and lung research and features, local, national and international speakers. The Scientific Symposium features hot topics in heart and lung health, ranging from genes and environmental interactions, new technology and innovation, big data and inflammation and remodeling.
